WWE Looking to Bring Back Shane McMahon for WrestleMania XXX?

Could we see Shane McMahon make an appearance at WrestleMania XXX? One recent report suggests so.

As Bryan Alvarez notes in this week's F4W Newsletter, Triple H and his wife Stephanie are keen to bring him back for the biggest show of the year.

Presumably, McMahon would be involved in the Vince vs. Triple H program that will be a significant storyline at WrestleMania, according to a rumor from Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestleZone.com).

He could, as amazing at it sounds, be Vince's representative in the match and take on Triple H.

Thanks to his willingness to work hard and take some incredibly brutal bumps, McMahon actually turned into a very good worker in the late '90s and early '00s.

His clash with Kurt Angle at the 2001 King of the Ring event, in particular, remains one of the most violent and compelling matches the company has ever showcased.

McMahon could, feasibly, get in the ring once more.

But would he want to return?

Shane famously announced his resignation from WWE in October 2009 for reasons that were not made fully clear at the time. At the time, one writer speculated he had grown disgruntled by his sister and brother-in-law's increasing power, as well as the fact that Vince had seemingly picked them over him to run WWE.

The executive would later tell The LA Times website that he wanted to step out from his father's shadow and find his own success outside of the wrestling business.

Since then, McMahon has thrown himself into various projects.

There is some interest, at least from the HHH/Stephanie side, of having Shane McMahon make an appearance at WrestleMania this year. Presumably, McMahon would be involved in the Vince vs. Triple H program that will be a significant storyline at WrestleMania, according to a rumor from Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestleZone.com).

Since then, McMahon has thrown himself into various projects.

Less than a year after he resigned from WWE, he was named as the new Chief Executive Officer of fledgling company China Broadcast, Inc, a provider of cable and broadband services. He later stepped down from that role but continues to serve as an executive officer and Chairman of the Board.

McMahon also serves on the Board of Directors for International Sports Management.

So he has managed to carve out something of a career for himself outside of WWE.

Will Stephanie and Triple H convince him to come back? Or will he decide he's far better off away from the stress and politics that inevitably come with being in wrestling?
