Sad facts, but true ones nevertheless. How can this be? What can be done to restore the Vain One's career before it is too late?
He needs to get a few memorable feuds as soon as possible with good opponents.
Fighting for a secondary championship is very good, but if it is just thrown in there for good measure, then why bother wasting everyone's time, right?
Dolph Ziggler is a phenomenal athlete. He sells well in the ring, looks good and can give the audience a good promo every now and then.
For some short-sighted reason, the company doesn't believe in guys like Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Co. The fans are forced to watch the incessant dominance of the Triple H character and the spotlight-hogging of the Cenas and the Ortons.
The future is coming faster than one may expect. Who will pick up the ball once the top guys retire?
Dolph Ziggler needs some major investing because he is young and ready.
He should grab life by the horns and state his claim right now. It is almost WrestleMania season.
A feud with Triple H could be absolutely brilliant. The King of Kings is a master and could do the WWE a great service by passing the torch somewhat to a spirited young Superstar like Ziggler.
Pissing The Authority off right now could serve the Show-Off well, so he should definitely consider knocking on Creative's door to demand this.
He certainly has earned it.
John Cena and Randy Orton are two other top names that come to mind. Yes, they have met in the past, but was it even taken seriously?
With the Undisputed Championship returning, the stakes will be higher than ever and top spots will go only to those who give it their all every day and night.
Knocking Cena, Orton or both off of their pedestals for real this time would propel Dolph Ziggler back into the spotlight, and WWE needs to do this someday. It is not true that the casual fan will stomach the two current "faces" of the company on top indefinitely.
Something has to give.
For the Royal Rumble and 'Mania, a program with Triple H is still possible, I believe. Nothing is set in stone yet, so we'll just have to wait and see.
There is also tag teaming.
What if he were turned heel again and paired with The Miz? Add a Diva in there and boom, a new chapter begins!
It worked for Miz in the past when he was with John Morrison. It gave people time to rediscover these two characters, and look how well it turned out.
A nice series of matches against current champions the Rhodes Brothers could breathe new life into both arrogant Superstars.
It wouldn't be for the WWE title, therefore removing some of the pressure, but it would feature three guys whom the company could depend on in the coming years.
A win-win situation.
Miz, Cody and Goldust could help out Ziggler in the speech department while the others could help out the Awesome One with tips on how to improve further in the ring.
With the coming of a new year, all sorts of hopes and dreams are renewed. It is a time for positive thinking and careful planning.
The WWE must invest in this young guy now before he no longer is, well, a young guy.
Why continue the current cycle where everything is monopolized by veterans?
It's time to invest in the future.
Dolph Ziggler is one part of that future. He is here to show the world, after all.
