WWE Royal Rumble 2015: NXT Superstars Who Should Be Entrants

More than any other year in WWE history, the 2015 Royal Rumble has an opportunity to showcase a wide variety of talent from both the main roster as well as the developmental system.

When there are 30 men in the match, it's tough to imagine that there won't be at least one or two wrestlers from the NXT side of things that will get a chance to showcase their skills in front of the Philadelphia crowd.

The previous two years saw Rusev and Bo Dallas make their debuts in the big match which helped ease their transition to the main roster later on.

Which Superstars from NXT should be placed in the Royal Rumble this year?

While it would be nice to see another 40-man match that would allow room for many different up-and-comers, that's not something anyone should be expecting.

There is a chance that not a single person from NXT will appear, but at most, only one or two will get this opportunity, and if you have to weigh all of the potential positives and negatives, there are two clear favorites for options.

Adrian Neville

It wouldn't be surprising to see Adrian Neville come onto the main roster in 2015 considering he has dropped the NXTChampionship.

The usual modus operandi seems to be that once a champion in NXT loses his or her title, they stick around for only a few months at most before vignettes begin airing about their debuts.

It's happened with The Ascension, Paige, Seth Rollins, Big E, Bo Dallas and it's likely to happen with Neville soon enough, too.

More can be done giving Neville an early spot in the Royal Rumble and having him possibly eliminate one sacrificial person such as Titus O'Neil or Adam Rose than to give him a squash match on a random episode of Raw or SmackDown.

Although this isn't the type of match for him to showcase his Red Arrow finisher, there's a chance his high-flying skills can be of use here in some capacity, which could keep the energy going during a stretch of the match where things normally slow down a bit.

Above all, having Neville in this match would be a sign of good faith that WWE trusts him to be worth the spot on the main roster in this coming year and that his title reign in NXT wasn't for nothing.

Sami Zayn

If the Royal Rumble grants the winner a shot at the top championship in the company, why shouldn't the NXT champion be rewarded for his efforts?

It can be argued that it isn't necessary to squander that spot when it can be given to someone else who needs a little boost like Tyler Breeze, but from a logical standpoint, it would make sense for the top man in NXT to be granted an opportunity.

On top of this, it's more than obvious that Zayn is one of the most popular people in NXT, and it never hurts to add another name that can make the crowd pop.

Zayn's time will come whether he's in this year's Royal Rumble or not, but it's tough to argue that the fans wouldn't enjoy seeing him dance to the ring and mix it up with some of the stars on the main roster.

Which NXT Superstars would you like to see in the Royal Rumble?

Is there anybody in particular you are hoping will come out when the clock counts down to zero?
