Batista expected to take time off after Extreme Rules

While every WWE fan is still excited over the recent reunion of Evolution this past Monday, and their impending battle with the Shield at the upcoming Extreme Rules event, it might be a short-lived run for the former dominant group as WrestlingRumors.net is reporting that Batista is expected to be taking some time off some time off shortly.

According to a report by PWInsider.com, WWE superstar Batista is expected to be taking some time off after the “Extreme Rules” Special Event. 

He is currently not advertised for any show beyond the May 4 event at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ.

Since Batista’s return back in January prior to the Royal Rumble, a break right around this time period had already been set as he will need to be on the road promoting the Aug. 1 release of his movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. 

What some fans also need to keep in mind before they get upset is the fact that Batista has been a steady, full-time worker since coming back to the company, something not a lot of stars that leave and come back do. He’s even made some house show appearances.

So while everyone is getting amped up over the Evolution reunion, it may only last for the next few weeks.
